Software Center initiates and runs research projects in active, close and long-term collaboration with industrial and academic partners.

Mutual benefit

Having industry involved as the research unfolds has several benefits:

Companies involved benefit from the fact that ideas from researchers and students are a major source of new technology directions.

Enhanced intellectual exchange

The intellectual exchange between industry and academia is enhanced through knowledge and technology transfer at multiple levels. Such as seminars and mobility of staff – for example graduate school for industry professionals.

National hub

The Software Center is a national hub for software engineering research and supports Swedsoft in its mission to increase national co-operation in areas of industrial importance, including center activities with national universities and associated centers (ICES, LUCAS, ELLIT).
