Software Center Reporting Workshop, May 2014

Sprint 6

During the reporting workshop on May 22nd, 2014, the researchers active in the Software Center reported on the research results during the latest sprint, sprint 6 (January - June 2014).

The reporting workshop is a bi-annual event where all researchers active in the center, many participants of the participating companies and several guests get together to learn about the latest and greatest.

This time we had over 75 people participating and the event was very much appreciated by those participating. The day was organised in the three main parts. In the section before lunch, all 15 research projects that were active during sprint 6 briefly presented their key results and plans for the next sprint. After lunch, we broke into four groups, associated with the four themes (Continuous Integration, Continuous Architecture, Organizational Performance Metrics and Customer Data- and Ecosystem-driven Development), for in depth sessions. Finally, all companies presented their experiences, key benefits and learnings from working in the Software Center. Afterwards, many of us went over the local hotel bar for a drink before heading home.

If this sounds like a fun way to spend a day, then mark November 25th in your calendar as that is when we will be holding the reporting workshop for sprint 7.

See you there!

Director of the Software Center
